Diverse Heating Solutions For Whatever The Job Demands

Polar Mobility’s fuel-fired heaters are designed to deliver dependable heat in demanding industrial and commercial mobile environments. These robust systems use diesel or gasoline to generate consistent, efficient heat where electrical systems aren’t practical or reliable.

Eberspächer heaters are among the most reliable and efficient climate control solutions for commercial mobile equipment. These systems are designed for engine-independent operation and deliver consistent cabin and system heat across a wide range of applications, including:

  • Construction
  • Agriculture
  • Forestry
  • Trucks and vans
  • Motor homes
  • Utility and cargo vehicles
  • Emergency vehicles
  • Public safety vehicles
  • Defence vehicles
  • Boats, buses, and coaches
  • Other applications that require an anti-idling heating system

By operating independently of the engine, Eberspächer heaters significantly reduce idling time—helping lower fuel consumption, emissions, and operating costs while keeping crews comfortable in cold conditions.

The Dometic Proheat X30 is a diesel-fired auxiliary heater built to handle harsh winter conditions. With 31,000 BTU/hr of fluid-heating capacity, it delivers reliable, efficient heat to enhance equipment operation and operator comfort.

Ideal for heavy-duty and off-highway applications, Proheat coolant heaters help reduce idling, improve cold-weather performance, and lower overall operating costs, all while maintaining industry-leading durability.

The Proheat X30 features four intelligent operating modes:

  • Standard Mode automatically regulates coolant temperature between 65°C and 85°C
  • Preheat Mode warms the engine before startup, shutting off after 90 minutes or once the engine starts
  • Supplemental Mode supports engine and cabin heating while driving
  • Anti-Freeze Mode periodically circulates coolant to prevent freezing during extended shutdowns

General Component specializes in engine coolant and air heaters for sleepers, boats, RVs, and vehicle cabs. Their fuel-fired heating systems operate independently of OEM vehicle systems and are available in gas or diesel configuration.

Units can be controlled through simple on/off switches, thermostats, 7-day timers, or advanced GSM/GPRS remote options.

Available in 12 or 24 VDC, General Components heaters are supported by a full range of accessories, including blower motors, controllers, coolant pumps, flame sensors, digital timers, relay switches, and wire harnesses. Polar Mobility offers a complete selection of General Components heaters and parts to keep engines warm and equipment ready in cold conditions.

Designed for performance and durability, fuel-fired heaters are a cost-effective solution for maintaining safe operating temperatures in extreme conditions.

Direct fuel-fired heaters expose the flame directly to the air, making them more efficient and suitable for heating large, well-ventilated spaces such as warehouses or construction sites.

In contrast, indirect fuel-fired heaters heat air through a heat exchanger, making them ideal for indoor spaces or areas where combustion by-products must be kept out of the air stream. These heaters are typically used in more enclosed or sensitive environments where maintaining air quality is essential.

Eberspächer heating units are among the highest-quality heating solutions available today.

  • Eberspächer Airtronic Heaters: Independent air-heating systems that use either internal or external air, heat it, and deliver it into the vehicle. This makes them ideal for a variety of commercial vehicles.
  • Eberspächer Hydronic Coolant Heaters: Coolant-based and integrated into the vehicle’s engine cooling system. They preheat the engine and can also be used for additional engine/glycol heat. This dual functionality improves comfort and enhances engine performance in cold conditions.

Choosing the appropriate mobile equipment heating solution for a construction site or industrial application involves evaluating several key factors. These include:

  • Insulation factor
  • Size of the area you’ll be heating
  • Desired temperature
  • Occupancy levels
  • Environmental considerations like humidity and ventilation
  • How quickly the space needs to be heated
  • Whether any hazardous materials are present

Proper assessment of these criteria helps you achieve efficient, effective heating tailored to the site’s or industry’s specific needs.
