Where To Find Commercial Mobile Air Conditioning Parts

Summer is well underway in Canada with temperatures reaching +30 celsius. Regardless of the weather, the work doesn’t stop. Many industries rely on mobile AC units to keep their workers cool, safe, and comfortable. But when the unit breaks down, it can lead to costly downtime and lost productivity.

Most of the time, issues with a mobile AC unit don’t call for a full replacement but service maintenance and repairs. At Polar Mobility, we stock an inventory of mobile equipment air conditioning parts that can get your system back up and running or enhance your existing unit. Keep reading to learn more.

Condenser Coils – Condenser coils remove heat from the refrigerant and, depending on your system, can be a tube and fin, serpentine, grilldenser, or multi-flow coils.

Compressors & Clutches – The compressor is the heart of the air conditioner and ‘squeezes’ the refrigerant gas until the temperature and pressure rise to release hot, high-pressure gas. The clutch spins a friction plate to use the motor’s power for turning the compressor on and off when needed.

Controls (Air & Water) – We supply air control such as louvres and diffusers in varying shapes and sizes, universal duct kits, outside air sensors, air sensing switches, sleeper controls, and blower controls. Water controls we offer include cable-operated water valves, heater shut-off water valves, manually-operated water valves, electrically-operated water valves, and electric water pumps.

Controls (Electric & Refrigerant) – Including electric controls such as water harnesses, automatic temperature control panels, and CTC circuit boards that control the blower speed. Refrigerant controls include refrigerant hose fittings and accessories with universal O-ring and fastener kits.

Evaporator Coils – The evaporator coils are a critical part of the AC system. As warm air passes over the cold evaporator coils, the refrigerant absorbs the moisture and heat. At Polar Mobility, we can get evaporator coils from different brand names, including Peterbilt, Mack, Western Star, and Kenworth, to name a few.

Fans, Blowers, DC Motors – Fans and blowers are essential parts of an HVAC air conditioning system to generate moving air. A DC motor installed in an air conditioning HVAC unit’s fan allows for quick equipment start and stop times.

Fittings & Accessories – Other parts and accessories you may need include solenoid switches, duct hose connectors, knobs, relay switches, pressure switches, adaptors, thermostats, expansion tubes and valves, along with heating and plumbing accessories. Polar Mobility has a wide range of fittings and accessories for your needs.

Receiver Driers & Accumulators – Also known as receiver-dehydrators, receiver driers stores some liquid refrigerant from the condenser and serves as a temporary storage container for oil and refrigerant when the unit is not in use. The accumulator collects and stores liquid refrigerant that flows out of the evaporator coil in regulated amounts. This part boils liquid refrigerant, turning it back into gas to be compressed by the compressor.
